Vogelstrausskluft Country Lodge overlooks on ancient dry riverbed with spectacular sunsets in this arid and interesting part of Southern Namibia alongside the upper part of the Fish River Canyon. The main building with the restaurant, lounge, curio shop, patio and swimming pool is centrally situated and the thatch and stone finishing blends the infrastructure into the environs. Nature drives to the edge of the Fishriver Escarpment may bring Kudu, Oryx, Springbok, Ostrich, Zebra and Giraffe into the lens of the nature lover. Apart from the 24 twin bedded en-suite rooms, we also offer walks, quad biking, stargazing, Scenic Sights and exclusive accommodation in our planned luxury Bush camp down in the Fishriver Canyon. Pickups from Keetmanshoop is also possible.
The Vogelstrausskluft area stretches along the Fish River Canyon on the western edge of the Kalahari - the eastern farm border is marked by the middle of the riverbed.

Following the B1 you will reach Keetmanshoop. Turn left on B4 to the direction of Lüderitz. Follow the road until you reach the turnoff D463 (it is about 28km after Seeheim) just after crossing a railway you will see the lodge on you left.
