Depart Windhoek and drive via Rehoboth into Kalahari Desert for overnight. A scenic drive will be undertaken towards sunset (in open vehicles).

DAY 2 Sunday
|
|
ROUTE
|
|
Drive through Kalahari and visit Qivertree forest near Keetmanshoop. Stop in Keetmanshoop, opportunity to enjoy lunch (on own account). Continue via Naute Dam, view Fish River Canyon most spectacular northern fringes.

DAY 3 Monday
|
|
ROUTE
|
|
Continue towards coast via Aus. Possibility to see feral horses on entering Namib Desert. Enjoy spectacular scenery on way to Lüderitz. Scenic drive around southern peninsula during afternoon.

DAY 4 Tuesday

|
ROUTE
|
|
Visit Kolmanskop, a deserted diamond town and today a museum. Duwisib Castle will be visited during the afternoon. Onwards towards Maltahöhe.

DAY 5 Wednesday
|
|
ROUTE
|
|
Early start to visit Sossusvlei, where we will undertake a scenic drive with 4x4 vehicles into the heart of the Namib Desert. Climb into the gorge of Sesriem Canyon before you travel past the impressive Namib Naukluft Mountains on your way to the lodge.

DAY 6 Thursday
|
|
ROUTE
|
|
Drive through Kuiseb Canyon and continue towards coast. A packed lunch will be enjoyed along the road. See ‘Welwitschia mirabilis’ a plant that is said to grow older than 1000 years. Visit Moon landscape and Walvis Bay before arriving late afternoon in Swakopmund.

DAY 7 Friday (Unguided)

ROUTE

|
Visit Walvis Bay Lagoon in the morning to view seabirds. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in Swakopmund. You may wish to book an optional day tour in Swakopmund.

|
Another day to enjoy the splendours and many attractions of Swakopmund. The group who booked the Northern Tour will join you for dinner.

|
Depart early morning on the salt road towards Henties Bay, past some pans and an array of bird life. Visit Twyfelfontein and the Organ Pipes on way into Damaraland. Packed Lunch en-route. We will arrive at our remote lodge during the afternoon.

DAY 10 Monday
|
|
ROUTE
|
|
Enjoy a morning scenic drive in rocky Damaraland with a guide of the lodge. Return to the lodge for lunch. Spent the afternoon at leisure or join a guided walk where you are introduced to the rich flora and fauna of the area.

DAY 11 Tuesday
|
|
ROUTE
|
|
Leave Damaraland. Visit a Himba village near Kamanjab and learn more about the culture and the tradition of this half-nomadic people. Continue via the little town of Outjo to a private game farm. See Dinosaur spoors en route.

DAY 12 Wednesday

ROUTE
|
|
Enjoy an early morning game drive. Around lunch time, passengers who booked the Etosha Tour will arrive from Windhoek and join you. Continue via Outjo into Etosha National Park, where we undertake the first game drive in our vehicle. Before sunset we will leave Etosha again and drive to our lodge/safari camp outside the Park.

|
The entire day will be spent in the park, exploring the waterholes along this enormous saltpan. Lunch stop at one of the Rest camps. (lunch for own account)

DAY 14 Friday
|
|
ROUTE
|
|
Another day of explorations in this world famous National Park. Your guide will introduce you to the complex subject of managing such an enormous reserve. Lunch stop at one of the Rest camps (lunch for own account). We leave the park late afternoon.

DAY 15 Saturday
|
|
ROUTE
|
|
Visit Lake Otjikoto. Opportunity to join the group en route to Victoria Falls. Continue towards Windhoek via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja where we will visit the Herero graves and a local handicraft market. Tour ends on arrival in Windhoek late afternoon.
