Depart Windhoek and drive via Rehoboth into Kalahari Desert for overnight. A scenic drive will be undertaken towards sunset (in open vehicles).

DAY 2 Sunday
|
|
ROUTE
|
|
Drive through Kalahari and visit Qivertree forest near Keetmanshoop. Stop in Keetmanshoop, opportunity to enjoy lunch (on own account). Continue via Naute Dam, view Fish River Canyon most spectacular northern fringes.

DAY 3 Monday
|
|
ROUTE
|
|
After breakfast, travel to the Hobas Campsite, an entrance to the Fish River Canyon to view the Canyons‟ most spectacular northern fringes. Continue to Aus and visit the Aus Information Centre. Possibility to enjoy lunch (for own account). See desert adapted horses on entering Namib Desert. Enjoy spectacular scenery of the Aus Mountains on an unguided walk. Scenic sun downer drive in the afternoon (for own account).

Optional excursion to Kolmanskop possible – enquire with your guide regarding the rate (minimum of 4 pax). See the ever-changing vistas of the desert landscapes when driving along the most beautiful district road in Namibia, the D707 (road conditions permitting). Arrive at your Lodge in the early afternoon. Time to relax at your Lodge.

Early start to visit Sossusvlei, where we will undertake a scenic drive with 4x4 vehicles into the heart of the Namib Desert. Climb into the gorge of Sesriem Canyon before you travel past the impressive Namib Naukluft Mountains on your way to the lodge.

DAY 6 Thursday

|
ROUTE

|
Drive through Kuiseb Canyon and continue towards coast. Lunch in Walvis Bay (for own account). Visit Walvis Bay Lagoon to view seabirds. Travel to Swakopmund. Enjoy a sundowner drive to Moon Landscape in the afternoon.

Explore lovely Swakopmund. You may with to book an optional day tour (for own account) in Swakopmund (guided tour through historical town or the Mondesa township, quad-biking, sand-boarding; Living Desert TOur, scenic flight over Skeleton coast or catamaran or boat cruise at Walvis Bay). Many options are on offer (for own account): visit aquarium, museum or crystal gallery, and many more.

Depart early morning on the salt road towards Henties Bay, past some pans and an array of bird life. Visit Twyfelfontein and the Organ Pipes on way into Damaraland. Packed Lunch en-route. We will arrive at our remote lodge during the afternoon.

DAY 10 Monday

ROUTE

|
Enjoy a morning scenic drive in rocky Damaraland with a guide of the lodge. Return to the lodge for lunch. Spent the afternoon at leisure or join a guided walk where you are introduced to the rich flora and fauna of the area. (The game drive might be done in the afternoon and the guided walk in the morning depending on availability at the lodge.)

DAY 11 Tuesday
|
|
ROUTE
|
|
Leave Damaraland. Visit a Himba village near Kamanjab and learn more about the culture and the tradition of this half-nomadic people. Continue via the little town of Outjo (Lunch stop; Lunch on own account) to Otjiwarongo for overnight.

DAY 12 Wednesday

ROUTE
|
|
Join a local guide on a guided morning walk through the small game park surrounding your Lodge. Around lunch time, passengers who booked the Etosha TOur, will arrive from Windhoek and join you. Continue via Outjo into Etosha National Park, where we undertake the first game drive in our touring vehicle. Before sunset we will leave Etosha again and drive to our lodge/safari camp outside the Park.

The entire day will be spent in the park, exploring the waterholes along this enormous saltpan. Lunch stop at one of the Rest camps. (lunch for own account)

|
ROUTE
|
|
Another day of explorations in this world famous National Park. Your guide will introduce you to the complex subject of managing such an enormous reserve. Lunch stop at one of the Rest camps (lunch for own account).

DAY 15 Saturday
|
|
ROUTE
|
|
Depart the Rest Camp or Lodge and travel south towards Otjiwarongo. Opportunity to join the group en route to Victoria Falls. Continue towards Windhoek vie Okahanfja where we eill visit a local handicraft market. Tour ends on arrival in Windhoek late afternoon.
