The Rostock Ritz Desert Lodge is one of Namibia’s most unusual desert lodges with it’s uniquely structured semi-subterranean rock igloos, built to have a minimal visual and ecological impact on the landscape .

The Lodge consists of 22 double en – suite igloos which are spacious and comfortable . Two of our units are wheelchair friendly. A motivated staff , an excellent a la Carte menu and a fully stocked bar guaranties an overnight visitor or day visitor a memorable stay and diverse programme .

Coming from Swakopmund you drive to Walvis Bay Airport and straight onto the C 14 - gravel road . You will stay on the C 14 and pass through the Kuiseb Canyon as well as through the Gaub Canyon . The lodge is situated on the left hand side

From Sossusvlei : 180 km

From Sossusvlei you drive to Sesriem . From Sesriem you take the C 19 towards Solitaire . Reaching Solitaire , you take the C 14 north towards Walvis Bay / Windhoek . The lodge is situated on the right hand side

From Windhoek : 240 km

Coming from Windhoek you drive the C 26 Via the Gamsbergpass ; southwest direction until you intersect with the C 14 . There you turn left onto the C 14 towards Solitaire / Sossusvlei . The lodge is situated on the left hand side
