Like an oasis in the desert, Langholm catches the first time visitor by surprise. The many who return look forward to the personal and homely atmosphere as well as the fresh, clean rooms. The beautiful garden with its splashing fountain offers a starting point to one of the best eco-tourism areas in the world, with unique flora and fauna and some of the world's highest dunes. Langholm's twelve double bedrooms each have bathroom en suite, telephone with direct dialling, television with M-Net and DSTV and tasteful furnishings. In addition, the self catering suite can accommodate up to 5 people, or be converted into an ensuite office if required. Lavish breakfast is served every morning and there are several restaurants within walking distance where guests can have an excellent meal. If preferred, meals can be ordered in from a number of restaurants. The Langholm offers all the comforts of home. The comfortable lounge and private bar are open every evening until 10 pm, where guests may have a drink or simply relax after a busy day. Langholm is a stone's throw away from the lagoon, golf course and swimming pool. Tours into the desert, the lagoon and surrounding areas can be arranged to make your stay more enjoyable. There are many restaurants, night-clubs and pubs within a short distance, and with the bustling town of Swakopmund only 30 km away, you will never be short of something to do. Transport to and from the airport and Swakopmund can be arranged on request and bicycles are available for the use of the more energetic guests. Your hosts, Charmaine and Bruce Stewart pride themselves on their personal attention to detail and will try to accommodate any requests.
