Founded in1895 as a Mission Station, Ghaub has remarkable historic value. The original buildings were meticulously renovated and additional buildings were erected in the same style. The historic character has thus been retained. Guests can relax at the swimming pool, participate in a farm drive, enjoy the stunning environment on walking trails or explore the nearby cave on a guided tour. In the peaceful early mornings and tranquil late afternoons, visitors have the possibility of watching game, undisturbed by human presence, at a nearby waterhole. All 10 modern and tastefully furbished and decorated twin rooms have en-suite bathrooms and offer a magnificent view of the surroundings. Dinner is served in the dining room or (weather permitting) outside, accompanied by the sounds of a burning fire and the African night.
