Southern Africa Travel CC adheres to the careful duty of a proper business for the conscientious travel preparation, the careful selection and supervision of performances, the correctness of the itineraries and the orderly execution of the duties laid down in the contract.
If Southern Africa Travel CC is merely the mediator of someone else’s performances, Southern Africa Travel CC will not adhere to the performances as such, but merely for the proper mediation of the performances. Southern Africa Travel CC will not be liable with regard to the information, performance and indication listed in someone else’s travel documents, especially not about the quality and time of someone else’s performances.
Please note: Camping is subject to a surcharge of N$ 15-00 per person as applicable.

2.
|
Drivers Licences
|
|
|
It is the responsibility of the client, who undertakes a Self-Drive Tour in Southern Africa, to obtain a valid international Driver’s Licence before the departure date. The licence of the country of origin must be presented too.

|
3.
|
Visas, Passports & Health Regulations
|
|
|
Southern Africa Travel CC does not take any responsibility for visas and customs regulations and sees it as the duty of the clients to inform themselves before their departure about these regulations. It is the obligation of the client to ensure, if he or she is medically fit and able to embark upon a tour. Clients should take professional advice about anti-malaria precautions prior to departure.

4.
|
Payment
|
|
|
All prices are inclusive of VAT at 15% in Namibian Dollar (N$). Payment in approved currency will be accepted at the rate of exchange of the bankers of Southern Africa Travel CC at the time of the receipt of payment. Any shortfall resulting in exchange fluctuations will be for the account of the customer. Payment must be made 40 days prior to arrival and can be made by electronic transfer, credit card (VISA and MASTER card are both accepted).

5.

Cancellations Policy
|
|
|
Any cancellation of bookings made between 60 to 45 days prior to arrival will result in a 10% cancellation fee of the total cost.
Any cancellation of bookings made between 44 to 30 days prior to arrival will result in a 30% cancellation fee of the total cost
Any cancellation of bookings made between 29 to 15 days prior to arrival will result in a 60% cancellation fee of the total cost
Any cancellation of bookings made between 14 to 0 days prior to arrival will result in a 100% cancellation fee of the total cost 100% of the total cost for any non-arrival.

6.

Changes to Agreement
|
|
|
Southern Africa Travel CC may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
|
|
|
|
|
7.
|
Disputes
|
|
|
In the event of any dispute of any nature whatsoever arising between the parties on any matter provided for in, or arising out of this agreement, such dispute shall be resolved through a mediation and arbitration process agreed to by the parties concerned.

|
|
|
8.
|
Insurance
|
|
|
Southern Africa Travel CC will not be liable for lack of travel insurance taken out by the client in terms of national law or international law, or in the case of the client not taking out travel insurance in the case of no legal requirements demanding travel insurance.
|
|
|
|
|
9.
|
Tourism Levy
|
|
|
The tourism levy has been introduced by the Minister of Environment and Tourism by virtue of powers invested to him through the Namibia Tourism Board Act, passed by Parliament earlier this year. Every accommodation establishment in Namibia, excluding campsites,camping and caravan parks, will be required to pay a tourism levy to the Namibia Tourism Board (NTB). A 2% Bed & Breakfast tariff or bed-only tariff, or 1% on all-inclusive prices will be applicable.
