We will offer you a daily breakfast consisting of the following: fried eggs, boiled eggs or scrambled eggs, together with bread and lunchmeats or marmalades, yogurts and cereals.
Plus minus 2 to 3 hours before sunset we will set up our camp. You now have the opportunity to survey the surrounding, whilst Klabri's Safaris prepares your dinner. After a nice shower and a sun downer we will sit down and dine. ROUTE: Arrival Windhoek - Twyfelfontein Lodge (472 km)

You will be collected at Hosea Kutako International Airport Windhoek and taken to the offices of your car rental company. At the offices of your car rental company, you will receive your ordered drinks which will be in your car.
At approximately 11h00 we will proceed in a northerly direction via Okahandja and Omaruru to the Twyfelfontein Lodge.

ROUTE: Twyfelfontein Lodge – Khowarib Schlucht (184 km) Camping

After breakfast well drive in a northerly direction passed Palmwag and then a right turn into the Hoanib riverbed to the Khowarib Gorge. Our first night will be spend at the campfire and under the beautiful starry night.

ROUTE: Khowarib Schlucht - Puros Ngatutanga Camp (144 km) Camping

We leave the Khawrib Gorge and drive through Sesfontein – Place of the 6 Fountains, to Puros. In Sesfontein we will go look at the old fort, refuel and the dive to Puros. Puros lies 55 km as the crow flies from the Atlantic Ocean, not far from the Skeleton Coast Park border in Kaokoveld along the Hoarusib riverbed.

The Hoarusib riverbed is our destination today and we will be on the lookout for desert- lions and elephants. Who wishes, can spend a relaxed day at the camp or go for a walk.

We will start early in the morning to start our 113km journey. It will take us 9 hours, because we are driving through the Hoarusib- and Khumib riverbed via a small village called Orupembe. We are now entering the territory of the Himba’s

ROUTE: Marble Community Camp – Camp Syncro (94 Km) Camping

From the Marble community we will drive a northerly direction via Rooidrom „red drum“to camp Syncro, along the Kunene River which serves as border to the Angola. The route leads us thorugh the famous Marienfluss valley with its Otjihipa Mountains to the east and the Hartmann Mountain to the west. You are now in one of the least driven areas of Namibia and few tourist or locals have ever been here.

ROUTE: Marble Community Camp - Opuwo (209 Km) Camping

Today our journey takes us easterly to Opuwo. The name Opuwo comes from Carl Hugo Hahn, a renish missionary, which said ‘…it’s now enough…until here and no further.. .’ In Otjiherero, as he arrived at the place today known as Opuwo. Opuwo is the capital city of the Kunene region

From Opuwo we first head easterly and then in a southerly direction, elong the Etosha national park, via Kamanjab to Outjio. From Opuwo onwards we will have tar under our wheels again.

Notes:
In the morning we have a good breakfast and pack up camp. Between 9 and 10 we start heading to our next destination. There is enough time to make ”pit-stops” along the way to stretch your legs, take photos and have a snack. In the late afternoon at about 16h00 we will arrive at our destination and build up the camp for the night.
Food and Drinks Breakfast will consists of tea and coffee, cereals, fresh fruit, bread, cheese, cold meats, fried eggs, yogurt, etc. At lunch time we will have a light meal like sandwiches, salads or similar. Every night we will prepare the finest cuisine meals for you with fresh ingredients. Occasionally, we might dine in a restaurant.
Documentation You will need a valid passport with a visa (depending on your nationality). The passport should be valid for at least 6 months after your date of departure in Namibia. An international driver’s license is necessary for the “drivers”.
